Why Is Air Filter Efficiency Important?
Indoor air pollution has been a challenge for many businesses especially production and manufacturing industries. The health threats varies from short-term, where sore throat and eye irritation are common examples. It uses a special kind of plate that traps particles and can be washed and reused multiple times. The downside is it produces ozone, so talk to an HVAC specialist first if you plan to use this filter.
- Activated Carbon – This type is best in shops and facilities that deal with odor and toxic smoke like in welding and soldering plants. The porous carbon present in an activated carbon filter absorbs the unwanted odor and gases while purifying the air. When a normal filter is unsuccessful in removing unpleasant odor in the area, carbon filters will do its magic.
